What kind of equipment do you have in your studio?
For state-of-the-art cardio conditioning, we offer work on Cybex Arc Trainer (equipment that averts undue stress on the knees and other joints) and a Precor treadmill. For weight and resistance training, we offer a range of free weights, kettlebells, stability balls, step equipment, resistance bands and core and balance equipment. For an amazing and unique total body workout, experience Pilates on the newly added Balanced Body (TM) Allegro Pilates Reformer.
Is there a nutritional component to your program?
Yes, while I am not a licensed nutritionist or dietitian, we will be discussing your nutrition based on your lifestyle and behavioral choices. I am a certified weight and lifestyle management consultant and acquired this credential in recognition that my clients’ success depends on a more holistic approach that will reinforce your exercise regimen with the positive behaviors that will enable you to achieve your fitness goals.

When can I expect to see results?
Results can be seen in anywhere from 8-12 weeks, depending upon your dedication to making changes in your diet and consistency in your exercise routine. If you’re including strength training at least twice each week, you will begin to notice results such as increased strength allowing for better daily function, decrease in girth (inches), and feeling great. Consistency is key and with program adherence, you will continue to see results such as further reduction in body fat, weight loss and increase in muscle tone.

Do I get a discount if I refer someone?
Yes! If you refer someone to New Heights Fitness and they sign up for training, you will receive one free session.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in your 30-minute free consultation?
During your consultation, we will discuss what you hope to get out of personal training, what your current and past exercise regimens have been, and how I can help you reach your goals. We will also discuss any issues and/or concerns you have highlighted in your health history form. If we determine to go forward with training sessions, I will begin to design a program customized to your needs, which we will get started with at your first training session!

What can I expect during a training session?
Training sessions will include cardiovascular, strength training, core development, balance and flexibility exercises. Each individually designed program is based on your specific health and fitness goals and abilities. You will be challenged, but safely and effectively. Whether your goal is weight loss, toning, greater flexibility, general fitness or preparing for athletic activities or races, the plan will be customized to your goals and will highlight what you need to be doing between our sessions to reinforce our plan. My job is to guide you through your workouts, motivate your activity between our sessions and raise your knowledge about good nutrition and the lifestyle changes that will further enable your success.

Do you offer a guarantee?
No honest fitness trainer can guarantee weight loss or a higher level of fitness because so much will depend on your dedication to improved exercise, health and nutrition between our sessions. You truly hold the key! But I can guarantee that I will take your individual health and fitness very seriously and create regimens and strategies that will help you to achieve your fitness goals based on your identified needs and abilities. Like anything that has the potential to change your health and well-being permanently, you will get from your training what you put into it. The harder you are willing and able to work, the more you will gain in combination with healthy nutrition and exercise between our sessions. I will support and inspire you, but you must be accountable to yourself! Committing to fitness training is the first step in that accountability.
